925 sterling silver is a precious metal alloy. Because silver naturally reacts with elements in its environment, it may tarnish or oxidise over time. This is a natural characteristic and does not by itself indicate a defect.
Recommended Care
• Store jewellery in a clean, dry, preferably airtight pouch or jewellery box when not in use.
• Keep jewellery away from perfumes, deodorants, cosmetics, lotions, chlorine, household chemicals and cleaning products.
• Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising or sleeping where practical.
• Avoid exposing jewellery to excessive moisture and sweat for prolonged periods.
• Handle pieces carefully to reduce scratches, bending and accidental damage.
• Use an appropriate silver polishing cloth gently when necessary.
• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or chemicals unless specifically suitable for the jewellery.
Tarnishing
Tarnishing can vary from person to person and can depend on humidity, sweat, skin chemistry, storage and exposure to chemicals. Some pieces may tarnish faster than others. Tarnishing can often be reduced or reversed through appropriate cleaning and care.
What Care Does Not Cover
The care guide does not constitute a warranty and does not guarantee that jewellery will remain untarnished or free from scratches, wear or other effects of normal use.
